Megg came to Flik out of the blue one day in July 2019 asking about how to get into the piercing industry. Flik gave her the usual advice but, as Megg was on her way to the door, Flik asked her to wait until she had a break so that they could chat more. It was during this discussion that Flik recognised the drive Megg had to succeed, her passion for piercing but also her vision for her future. Flik decided there and then to teach Megg the ways of the force and she duly completed her foundational training in September of that year. When Flik left her previous studio Megg carried on there for a while but without the support and knowledge of her mentor on hand and a change in working environment, she knew that in order to achieve her goals she needed to be working with Flik wherever that may be. Megg continues to push herself to obtain new qualifications and expand her knowledge recently undertaking a level 3 diploma in anatomy and physiology with the goal of one day expanding into aesthetics. When she’s not in the Avalon rooms or studying she can be found pampering her cats, chilling with friends and eating ramen.
