Here at The Avalon Rooms we’re all about doing what we love in a way that is respectful to our environment. Due to the nature of some of our services we cannot commit to zero waste but we can certainly commit to leaving a smaller footprint. To this end we have already implemented a paperless booking and consent form system as well as sourcing eco friendly packaging and biodegradable disposable supplies and recycled materials where possible. We also use a product called BLK powder to solidify any liquids left over from the tattooing process so that our contaminated waste can be disposed of without the potential for contamination of the water supply.
We try to group our stock deliveries together where possible so that we’re lessening the carbon footprint of our deliveries, we also maintain the studio so that our consumption of electricity is as efficient as it can be. We’re not experts in eco friendly technology or practices and we’re always open to suggestions about lessening our environmental impact so if you think there’s something we can do on top of what we’re doing already send us an email and let us know!
